Brashear's second opponent in the LaPlata tournament Saturday was Montgomery County. Like the 1st game of the day, runs were hard to come by until Montgomery County scored twice in the top of the 5th. Brashear managed to score a run in the bottom of the 6th, but fell short by a score of 2-1. Hannah Grissom had 2 hits for Brashear, with Lacey Fisher and Haley Mcnamar also having hits. Alexa Borgmeyer got the start and struck out 6 while surrendering 8 hits.
